It's All Mental

May 5, 2020

What does forgiveness look like?  What does it actually mean to forgive, and how do we move on with our lives after we have been betrayed or lied to?  Forgiveness is not sweeping something under the rug and pretending it didn’t happen, but it is acknowledging a wrong was done, and recognizing that for us to move on in our own lives we have to go through the phases of forgiveness.

In this episode we dive into the four phases of forgiveness.  What each stage looks like, how to recognize what stage we are in, and how to be self aware of ourselves in order to know if we need to seek the help of  a professional therapist.  We dive into looking into the eyes of the offender, and while that may seem to go against forgiveness, it allows us to see things from another perspective that can help in our healing process.
