It's All Mental

Jan 19, 2021

We are living in very emotionally charged times right now.  In order to “unload” it is important for us to reach out to a therapist to discuss the mental and emotional issues at hand.  Equally important is finding a mental health professional that looks like you and is culturally competent to be able to really work through these times together.

There is still so much hate in the world.  The hate is felt by us and not only do we have to deal with it on our own but if we have children we have to have conversations with them about these issues and work through it with them.

All of this combined can exert so much stress on us, which is why I can’t encourage you enough to process through all of the things going on in our society with a mental health professional who also understands these emotions and feelings.

--

Topics Discussed:

  • Finding a culturally competent mental health professional.
  • The emotions of the times we are living in.
  • The difficulty of working through the hatred that is out there.
